“What
is my opinion about English Language?”
Yes,
that is the last task that our English Teacher gave to us. At first, I didn’t
pay much attention to that task, because I think, I don’t need much time to do
that. But, when the time is running out, I really find my self so naive.
What is my opinion
about that?
Well, maybe I can say, English Language is “everything”. Everything, why? Because with that, I can see the world from many—many point of view. English is my
tounge. English is my lips. English is my voice. English is my eyes. English is
my window. English is my door to step to the light. Without that, maybe I never
been here right now, eventhough my english skill is not too good (^_^v).
And
then, what is the best method to study english
language?
Wow,
honestly, the first time I can understand
english is when I start to playing game; Harvest Moon: Back to Nature,you
know, the RPG game about Farming life, with english version of course. Maybe it
sounds like I just kidding, but I am serious. From that game, not only an
english laguange that I can have, but the value of the life. So, I think I am
not agree with the statement like “The game just bring a negative effect for
children”. Because, from my experience, the game, especially Harvest Moon, is
my first and the best english teacher until now.
So,
the best method to study english to me:
1.
Don’t
always stuck to the text book.
2.
Give
the student chance to choose their best way to understand english such as
listening song, watching film, playing a game, make an english day ( I often do
that with my friends), and many more.
3.
Once
more, make an english day. It mean we
have to speak only english in that
day (even just say “yes, no, thank you, I love you”, I think that’s enough to
improve our active-english speaking).
I
know my english is not good. But I hope this opinion can help everyone to find
the best way to study english. Maybe my method is not good to other, but I can
tell, this is very usefull.
